Looking back, it’s kind of weird how, despite being a shopping centre, you never actually went to Junes to buy anything. Its sole purpose was for a place for the team to meet up and either discuss things or enter the TV world. So, it’s easy to forget what Junes actually is. And as some kind of megastore, it needs something to hook people into going there to buy stuff. This theme is that hook.

You are subjected to this theme repeatedly throughout the game; even before you even go to the store itself, the advert plays at home, causing little cousin Nanako to break into song, marking the first time we see her actually being happy. The theme itself is so infectious with its cheeriness; no matter now savvy you are, even if you know it’s just bait to lure you in, you will still let it seep into your brain and make you hum along. And remember, “Every day’s great at your Junes.” If you’ve played Persona 4, you probably sang that.
