Paper Mario: Sticker Star is one of those things that simply remembering that it exists makes me kind of angry. It was so disappointing and so boring to play that I couldn’t even be asked to finish it. There are only a few positive things that I have to say about it – it’s music being one of them, like this track.
It’s a good thing too considering how often you were forced to return to this town in order to buy more stickers. The only thing that made coming back sufferable was this incredibly jazzy music. It’s just fun to listen to, it fits the whole ‘first town in an RPG’ setting very well and it’s upbeat nature matches the bright and colourful aesthetic. Such a shame it’s stuck in an otherwise terrible game.
