Since I wrote a review of Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward last week, I figured I should share a sample of its soundtrack with you, specifically a track I mentioned by name: Sublimity.
It’s honestly hard to put into words why I love this track. It’s perfectly haunting, creating a tense and uneasy atmosphere that can alter your mood instantly. What helps is probably the very inhuman noises you hear. You might be able to recognise a few instruments but the rest is flat out indescribable, particularly what sounds like a distorted human scream. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you hear it.
If you want to fully experience the true terror of this track, then I suggest you play the game dead at night; if you’re in the house on your own, even better. You will suffer from paranoia afterwards.
