For as much as I get frustrated with Kingdom Hearts, it’s a series that’s near and dear to me. I may grumble about some aspects of it constantly, but I’ll always keep coming back for its tight, action-RPG gameplay, enjoyable characters and its general oddball charm. And if I didn’t love it, I wouldn’t be interested in finding out curious tid-bits and random trivia all about it. Last week on The Entertainment Dome, James and I had a surprisingly brief recap of the last couple of Attack on Titan episodes (which were disgusting, BTW), before moving on to a bunch of the announcements from the latest Nintendo Direct.
This week on The Entertainment Dome, James and I share our excitement at the return of a certain character in Ace Attorney 6, James brings up Microsoft’s latest bad idea for PC gamers and Aaron briefly takes over to share his hatred for Windows 10. Oh, and James makes a massive cock-up.
It’s been a slow news week, but that’s not going to stop James and I from rambling a bunch. This week, James shares his recent experience with Xenoblade Chronicles (the best game ever), we relive our teenage years with a Harry Potter discussion and we have a bit of a ramble about the Final Fantasy series.
I don’t have a lot of nostalgia for the Final Fantasy series. Hell, I don’t even consider myself a fan of the series. That being said, though, there is one aspect I love: it’s music. Doesn’t matter which game it is, there’s at least one track from each entry that I’m fond of, and where better to start than a track from the very first game. Continue reading
