Postman Pat: The Movie (Movie Commentary)

When I started writing these weekly articles, my very first one was on Postman Pat: The Movie and why I was actually sort of looking forward to it, because it looked bat-shit insane. And I wasn’t disappointed.

Two years later and I’ve coerced James into watching it for a movie commentary. So enjoy James’ genuine first reactions to an absolutely mental plot involving a talent show, evil robots and David Tennant trying to murder Postman Pat.

Syncing details are in the video.

Pokémon: Mewtwo Returns (Movie Commentary)

Ok, this one’s technically not a movie but screw it; we’ve done it anyway. James and I somehow managed to blunder our way through a one hour special that’s a follow-up to the first Pokémon movie –  a special with underdeveloped morals, useless main characters and Jesus water. Yes, you heard me. Jesus water.

Syncing details are in the video.

Pokémon 3: The Movie: Entei – Spell of the Unown (Movie Commentary)

After what feels like a long wait, James and I return to the Pokémon movies with the third one; one that we consider to be the best one yet. But is it as good as we remember? Spoilers: the answer is yes.

Syncing details are in the video so sit back and enjoy copious amounts of Silent Hill comparisons, Yu-Gi-Oh jokes and gushing from two fully grown adults.

Digimon: The Movie (Movie Commentary)

After two Pokémon movies, James and I decided to mix things up a bit by doing a commentary on the Digimon movie; specifically the movie released in the West that combined three Digimon movies into one. Is it as bad as it sounds? Hoo boy.

If you enjoy poor pacing, a mediocre script, random bursts of nostalgia and me getting my trivia wrong, you’ll probably love it. So watch on and find out. Syncing details are in the video.
